Did you know? 🚌On the 40th, 80th & 120th day of school, APS captures a snapshot of the bus ridership to report to NMPED. The information collected on this day is very important and impacts the funding our district receives for transportation. Transportation funding not only supports students' daily rides to and from school, it can also support in-district school field trips. 🚌On Thursday, October 8th, if your child is a bus rider, please help us provide an accurate count by having them ride the bus. 🚌

Buena Vista is introducing our new Cafeteria Cone Check system!
Every table begins lunch on green:
Green: Appropriate table talk
Yellow: Lower your voices
Red: Two-minute quiet reset
After a red reset, the table returns to green and students may try again. The cones provide students with a quick visual reminder and an immediate opportunity to correct their volume.
Our goal is not a silent cafeteria. We want students to enjoy talking with their friends while learning to use an appropriate volume, respond to reminders and help create a safe and pleasant lunchtime for everyone.
🐾 Homecoming Parade Interest! 🐾
Our Homecoming Parade is coming up on October 2nd, and we are looking to select 4–5 students from each grade level to participate!
If you would like your student to be considered, please fill out the interest form below. Completing the form does not guarantee selection.
