Calling all creative Bobcats! Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest is here!
Use the pumpkin you picked up at Math Night or purchase your own. There’s NO SET THEME—make it simple, make it extravagant, and let your imagination take over!
PAINT IT. DECORATE IT. NO CARVING!
Keeping pumpkins uncarved helps prevent quick molding and keeps our display fresh.
Bring entries to the CAFETERIA by 2:30 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28.
PRIZES:
• One winner per grade level earns a Happy Meal lunch with Dr. Tedford on Friday, October 30!
• One overall campus winner receives $100 CASH!
Winners will be announced during morning announcements and pledges on Friday, October 30.
We can’t wait to see your creations!
Red Ribbon Week is October 26–30! Our dress-up flyer is coming home with students TODAY. Check it out and help your Bobcat celebrate healthy choices!
Thursday, Dr. Tedford will be Cruella! Students are invited to dress as Dalmatians to represent “101 reasons to be drug free.”
FRIDAY is our school-appropriate costume day. No masks, weapons (including toy or costume weapons), blood, vulgar content, or violence of any kind are allowed.
Thank you for helping us keep the celebration fun and school-appropriate!

Started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011, Unity Day is now celebrated worldwide. By standing together, we can make a tremendous impact on the lives of young people and demonstrate the power of unity. Let’s unite and focus on the positive actions we can take to build healthier, more inclusive communities.

Reminder! Did you know? 🚌On the 40th, 80th & 120th day of school, APS captures a snapshot of the bus ridership to report to NMPED. The information collected on this day is very important and impacts the funding our district receives for transportation. Transportation funding not only supports students' daily rides to and from school, it can also support in-district school field trips. 🚌 Tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th, if your child is a bus rider, please help us provide an accurate count by having them ride the bus. 🚌
